1. Acceptance of terms
By using Catastro GPS, you accept these terms of use. If you do not agree with any of them, please do not use the service.
2. Service description
Catastro GPS is a tool that converts cadastral references to GPS coordinates. The service queries public data from official cadastral systems of Spain, Portugal (SNIC), France (Geoplateforme), Italy, Germany, Navarre, and the Basque Country, and presents them in an accessible manner.
3. Permitted use
The service is intended for:
- Informational queries about parcel locations
- Professional use by architects, surveyors, real estate agencies, and similar
- Verification of cadastral data
- Automated use through the official API, with your API key and within the limits of the plan you subscribed to
- Building API results into your own products and services, including those you offer to third parties, under the terms of your plan
- Ordering land registry documents (nota simple, certidão, visura, état hypothécaire and similar) and using them in line with the rules that govern them and for a legitimate interest
Not permitted:
- Automated extraction of data from the website or the app (scraping, bots or crawlers) outside the official API
- Getting around usage limits, for example by opening several accounts or keys, sharing keys or splitting requests to exceed the plan quota
- Attempting to access unauthorized systems or data
- Reselling or redistributing the raw data as a database, or using the service to rebuild the cadastral database in whole or in part
- Using registry documents, or the personal data they contain, for purposes other than the legitimate interest that justified the request or in breach of data protection law
- Using the service for illegal activities
4. Fair use and limits
To keep the service useful and sustainable for everyone:
- The API has a per-minute request limit per key depending on the plan (Free 10, Developer 60, Startup 120, Growth 300), on top of the monthly quota you signed up for.
- The Pro plan on the web and the app is unlimited for reasonable personal and professional use; above 1,000 distinct parcels a day new lookups are paused until the next day, and batch processing accepts up to 2,000 rows a day.
- Bulk extraction of the data, redistributing or reselling it, and using the service or the API to build a database that competes with ours are not allowed.
- If we find use that breaks this clause we may limit or suspend the account or the key, without a refund for the current period.
This clause applies to accounts and API keys created from 30 September 2026. API customers who signed up before that date keep the terms they signed up under.
5. Use of API data
This clause applies to anyone using the Catastro GPS API with an API key (the "Customer"). The service is provided by Daniel Roman Martinez, NIF 47815941E.
What you can do
Use the data the API returns within your organisation and in your own products and services: build it into your website or app, show it to your end users and your clients, and use it in your own valuations, listings, ads or reports.
What you cannot do
- Resell, rent or sublicense the data, or access to the API, to third parties.
- Redistribute the data as a dataset (files, downloads, feeds or your own API), free or paid.
- Use the data to build or feed a database, cadastre or price index that competes with ours.
- Extract the data in bulk or systematically (sweeping references, coordinates or areas, through the API, the website or the app) in order to replicate it.
Price and valuation data
Price and value data, available on paid plans only, is our own calculation. You can use it for your decisions and show it to your users inside your product, tied to a specific parcel or property; you cannot publish it in bulk or compile it into a dataset or index. The data may include marks that make it possible to detect redistribution.
Wider uses
If you want to resell the data or embed it in a third-party data platform, we can grant you a separate licence (Enterprise plan). Get in touch.
Attribution
Where the official source's licence requires it, credit that source when you show cadastral data.
No warranty
The data is provided "as is". Cadastral data comes from official sources and may contain errors or be out of date. Price and value estimates are indicative: they are not an official appraisal.
Breach
If this clause is breached we may suspend or revoke the keys involved. We will warn you by email first, unless the breach is serious or repeated.
Acceptance and versions
You accept this clause by ticking "I accept the API terms of use" when you create your key or buy a plan; we keep the date, the version accepted and the IP address. It is not retroactive: keys created earlier keep working even if you have not accepted it yet; we only ask for it before you create new keys or buy a plan.
6. Service limitations
Important: Catastro GPS is an informational tool. The data shown comes from public sources and may contain errors or be outdated.
You should always verify the information with the corresponding official source before making legal, financial, or any other decisions.
7. Disclaimer
Catastro GPS is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:
- Errors or inaccuracies in the displayed data
- Decisions made based on the service information
- Service interruptions or failures
- Economic losses resulting from use of the service
8. Intellectual property
Cadastral data is the property of official cadastral bodies in each country. Catastro GPS solely facilitates access to public information. The design, code, and brand of Catastro GPS are property of their creators.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately after their publication on this page.

11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
