Frequently asked questions

Is it accurate enough for setting out? add

No. Accuracy is metric — fine for locating a plot and preparing the job, but a cadastral boundary does not legally define ownership. Setting out requires a field survey by a qualified professional.

Which formats can I export? add

DXF for AutoCAD and any CAD, KML for Google Earth and GPX for field GPS, plus the centre coordinates in WGS84 and UTM.

Which UTM zone does it use? add

The one that applies to the parcel's location. Checking the zone before importing avoids the most common mistake.
